The Reverse Helix Barrel works on the same principle as a Gold Spiral Wheel. When ran properly your heaviest Classified Concentrates and Gold will be deposited out the head of the Helix Barrel into the Gold Pan/ Material Catch.
The biggest advantage of a Reverse Helix Trommel is the capability to check the Gold Recovery after just a few shovels of material and no need to shut down operation to clean out a Sluice Mat to collect your Gold. We include a Sluice Box on our Trommels as a 'secondary backup catch' in case of overfeeding the Trommel or if you are recirculating your water as Fine Gold can float when the water becomes muddy.
