Spent quite a bit of time working on a LOT of mining data and information for Virginia. These is NEW and historic mining data. I have compiled a complete list of GOLD mines in Virginia. The map is sorted by counties and has the GPS coordinates for easier tracking. Waterways near the mines are also roughly highlighted allowing you to do research. If you can't get to a mine you're interested in, it may help to see the waterways near the mines to see where it leads for downstream hunting!
