The Nelson pulverizer is a clone of the Bico model UA pulverizer. It was made in Canada by the Nelson Machinery Company under some hole in the patent laws at the time. The Nelson takes the same grinding disc set as the Bico and plate sets are still available from Bico.
I don't know the age of this model. I obtained it used in the 1970's and it was used in my minerals processing laboratory for about 15 years. It has been stored since that time. It is in excellent shape and the plates (grinding discs) are at about 50%. It can be purchased with the 5HP single phase motor that was used to power the pulverizer in my lab.
Needs the bearings greased to be functional and paint to be pretty.
Price is $2500 with motor or $2000 for the pulverizer alone.
